A Penduka representative will meet you at Windhoek International Airport or at a guesthouse in Windhoek and we commence on safari to drive westwards descending the Spreetshoogte Pass to Solitaire. The area offers breathtaking views deep into the lower lying Namibian plains. We arrive at Sesriem camp situated on the edge of the Namib Naukluft Park.

We make an early start and drive through traditional villages before entering the South Early morning visit to some of the highest sand dunes in the world at Sossusvlei, the highest of which has been measured from its base as being 325 m.

Visit the Sesriem canyon in the afternoon. Centuries of erosion have incised a narrow gorge about 1 km in length. The gorge plunges 30 m to 40 m down and at the foot, pools can be found that become replenished after good rains.

Drive through the Namib Naukluft Park and observe the rich diversity of desert adapted fauna and flora, including the Welwitschia plant. Reach the quaint town of Swakopmund nestled between the desert and the sea on the West Coast. Camp is set up near Swakopmund. Time to relax before a campfire dinner.

An early start to make the most of the various options available in the coastal towns of Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. In the morning we drive to Walvis Bay to see the bird life, flamingos and pelicans in the Harbour. An optional boat cruise gives you the chance to see the Cape fur seals, Bottlenose and Heavy side dolphins. In the afternoon a visit to the Swakopmund Museum, rug making industry and other places of interest, or a drive up the spectacular Swakop River.

We drive north through some of the largest lichen fields worldwide. In the late afternoon we reach Aba-Huab River where desert elephants can occasionally be seen. A little further on the Huab River we look for a nice spot to set up our wilderness camp.

Spend the morning exploring one of the largest collections of rock engravings discovered at Twyfelfontein and visit Burt Mountain. In the afternoon we drive along the Aba-Huab River bed in search of desert elephant and rhino.

We travel via Khorixas and Outjo to enter the Etosha National Park at Anderson Gate. An afternoon game drive into the Etosha Park before returning to Okaukuejo. The Etosha National Park is one of the largest parks in Africa, and owes its unique landscape to the Etosha Pan, a vast shallow depression of approximately 5 000 km square. Of the 114 mammal species found in the park, several are rare and endangered, such as black rhino and black-faced impala.

The waterhole at Okaukuejo is floodlit at night and spectacular wildlife is almost guaranteed. Lions, elephants and black rhino come to quench their thirst at night.

Today we observe the spectacular wildlife activity around the waterholes where game concentrates during the dry season. Lunch en route. Our daylong game drive takes us around the edge of the Etosha Pan to Namutoni, and along famous game routes in the Etosha Park.

Leaving the Etosha National Park we travel via Grootfontein to Rundu on the Kavango River.

We reach the Caprivi, cross the border into Botswana, and travel through the village of Shakawe, to arrive at Drotsky?s campsite situated on the banks of the Okavango River.

A morning motor boat excursion on the Okavango River which is at its widest in this area. An abundance of bird life nest in the high papyrus fringing the river?s edge, and we look out for the shy Sitatunga antelope that live here and feed off the papyrus. A walk down to the river from the campsite offers opportunity for bird watching.

Early departure to drive down the west side of the Okavango Delta to arrive in Maun, Gateway to the Okavango. We arrive at Maun Lodge, unpack and relax. In the afternoon an optional game flight offers you an aerial view of the Okavango Delta.

We make an early start and drive through traditional villages before entering the South Gate into Moremi Wildlife Reserve. We should see game en route to this reserve. Our game drive takes us on a scenic road through Moremi to Xakanaxa lagoons. You are shown to your tents in ime to shower before dinner served in the dining tent.

Early morning coffee or tea, and we set off on a full morning?s game drive to return to camp for a delicious brunch. Time to shower rest and relax in camp. After tea we set off on our afternoon game drive through Moremi with its wilderness of rivers and lagoons. Return to camp and relax around the campfire. Dinner served in dining tent.

Having had breakfast we leave Xakanaxa and continue on an interesting riverine route where excellent bird and wildlife can be found, we arrive at Moremi?s North Gate.

We leave Moremi and our route takes us on an interesting day?s drive northwards to Savuti. We stop en route for lunch. A game drive past the grassy plains of the Mababe Depression takes to our campsite.

Savuti is one of Africa?s most densely populated predator areas, and well known for its bull elephants. The Savuti waterhole offers an ever-changing spectacle of birds and wildlife. Morning and afternoon game drives to the Savuti marsh in search of predators. Leisure time to relax during the heat of the day. Afternoon game drive to Bushman paintings hill.
